Simply let the blade drop to the bottom (or just above the bottom in snaggy areas) then give your rod a slow lift, not a jerk, a lift. If you can't feel the vibration of the lure then there's probably a bit of weed or the lure is tangled in your line so reel it back in immediately to fix the issue.
